Bharti Singh’s motherhood journey: From an unexpected pregnancy surprise to welcoming baby no 2 with grace and grit

The popular stand-up comedian recently opened up about the unexpected joy of her first pregnancy. Fans loved hearing her candid story, especially after she welcomed her second son last month.

A sudden discovery

Life took Bharti by surprise during a casual party with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa. She spotted a pregnancy test strip nearby and decided to try it out of curiosity. After taking the test one morning, she went back to sleep and checked later. Two lines appeared, leaving her stunned. She rushed to show Haarsh, who could hardly believe it. At that time, Bharti Singh revealed her pregnancy surprise on her YouTube channel.




Her doctor confirmed she was already seven weeks along. Bharti shared how the news hit her hard. She had been enjoying beer at the party just before. The doctor assured her everything would be fine from now on. In that moment, motherhood sank in. Bharti found herself gently touching her belly to protect the little life growing inside.

A loving family journey

Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya tied the knot in 2017 after meeting on the sets of Comedy Circus in 2009. Their first son, Laksh, aka ‘Gola’ as the couple calls him, was born in April 2022.

Bharti often jokes about not noticing early signs due to her build. She danced and shot shows like Dance Deewane without a clue for over two months.

Bharti’s second child was born on December 19, 2025. Her water broke early that morning, right before a ‘Laughter Chefs shoot’. Scared and shocked, she rushed to the hospital with her husband Harsh Limbachiya, by her side. Their baby boy, nicknamed Kaju by fans, joined the family safely. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram with a sweet video and caption: “Limbachiya and sons, again it’s a boy.”

Bharti’s story resonates with many. She once worried about conceiving naturally due to weight concerns. Yet, blessings came swiftly when they decided to expand their family.
