Writer Siddhartha Dey surprised everyone with his entry as a participant in
Bigg Boss 13. He writes for films and TV, and is quite a popular name in the world of showbiz. In fact most of the celebrities who entered the show recognised him.
Siddhartha has done several projects including writing scripts for reality shows like Jhalak and others. In order to enter the house, Siddhartha left many of his projects midway.
Siddhartha told Salman he wanted to be a part of the show to become famous as most writers are faceless names for the audience. Salman applauded his endeavour.
The popular writer hails from Nagpur and has done engineering. His ambition was to become a doctor, but destiny made him pick writing as his career.
Siddhartha is friends with several big names from the Bollywood industry. He knows the likes of
Priyanka Chopra and
Shah Rukh Khan.
He has not only written for reality shows but also award shows.
In the premiere episode, Siddhartha mentioned that just like big actors, he doesn't get up early. And shared how he is uncomfortable with the idea of having just two toilets in the BB house.
