Madhurima Tuli has entered Bigg Boss 13 house as a wild card contestant. While many of you have seen her in Chandrakanta and Kumkum Bhagya, here are a few lesser known facts about the actress. Take a look:

Wild card entry

Madhurima entered the show in the Monday night episode (December 2). About her entry, she said, “I will be myself; I am going with an open mind and will be the confident, independent woman that I am in real life. Once inside, I will go with the flow.”

Tryst with reality shows

Before Bigg Boss 13, Madhurima’s first tryst with reality show was Nach Baliye 9. She was seen with ex-boyfriend Vishal and they were called the 'Kabir Singh' jodi.

Modelling in college days

Not many know that Madhurima was born in Odisha and hails from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She won the Miss Uttaranchal contest in college.

Her early days

She started off as an actress down South back. She made her debut with Telugu film Saththaa (2004) opposite Sai Kiran.

Honing up acting skills

She moved to Mumbai and studied acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School. She and worked as a model doing advertisements for many popular brands.

Her TV journey

She has been part of shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Rang Badalti Odhani, Qayamat Ki Raat, Chandrakanta — Ek Mayavi Prem Gaatha, 24 and more. It was in Chandrakanta, where she met Vishal and the ex-couple share a love-hate relationship.

Her Bollywood journey

Madhurima left Kumkum Bhagya to sign Akshay Kumar’s film Baby. Here she played the role of Akshay Kumar’s (Ajay Singh Rajput) wife Anjali. She also has films like Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Warning and Naam Shabana to her kitty.

Her international project

She was a part of 2017 international historical drama – The Black Prince. She was seen as the last Sikh queen of India – Maharani Jinda. While Shabana Azmi played the character, Madhurima played the younger role.
