Bigg Boss 14: Misunderstandings and fights grapple couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla; a look at their ups and downs in the house

TV bahu Rubina Dilaik and husband Abhinav Shukla are much loved by fans and followers in the Bigg Boss 14. While the couple stood strong together and playing the game as a couple, off late there seems to be cracks in their relationship. How and what went wrong? Read here to find out more:

During the recent Panchayat task, Abhinav wanted to discuss their game strategy and he got Rubina with him to talk separately. He wanted Rubina to rehearse her points before arguing in the task, but Rubina was not taking his advice seriously and was avoiding having conversation with him. Rubina claimed that she is having stomach ache and is not feeling well and she knows what she wants to speak. She avoided him saying that she wanted to go to the washroom. Later, he tried again to speak to her about the strategy, but Rubina asked Abhinav to speak in the mic. This irked Abhinav and he went quiet. Rubina tried to justify that she doesn't want the other team to hear their strategy. Abhinav kept saying that she always avoids and finds excuses to not hear him out and said ‘It’s so difficult to talk to you.’

Rubina, since the very beginning was advised to play her own game and use her mind. In the Weekend Ka Vaar, Rubina had got special advice from fans, host Salman Khan and special guest Ekta Kapoor. They all asked her to follow her instincts and not let husband Abhinav interfere in her game or influence her opinion. Rubina seems to have started taking their advice seriously and is opening up in the game. The Shakti actress has been making sure to stop Abhinav when he is going wrong or when she doesn't agree with him.

Every time Rubina would get into an argument or play her own game during the task, Abhinav would come out in the front and stand as a husband. While no one is complaining of him being protective of his wife, audience and host Salman feel that it is not required. Rubina is here to play her individual game and Abhinav should just let her play the game her way and decide her own strategies.

During the nomination task, Eijaz Khan was seen telling Abhinav Shukla not to nominate Rahul Vaidya. Abhinav rejects the idea which makes Eijaz upset. Rubina Dilaik here told him not to risk everything as this might put him in the danger zone. But he said that he knows his mind and is not afraid of nomination or elimination. Rubina then told him to shut up and listen to her.

Their differences were made apparent several times and picked up by Salman Khan in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Salman first started with Abhinav and exposed his strategy to appear innocent and harmless, and save himself from getting nominated. The Bollywood superstar told Abhinav that he holds no opinions, and hence, has no lovers or haters. The host of the show further asked Abhinav not to beg others to save his wife Rubina Dilaik. He added that it makes him look bad, and doesn't make Rubina look good either.

In an episode, a caller suggested Rubina should take a stand for herself in the game, even if it was different from Abhinav's. Salman agreed with her and then questioned Rubina about it. Rubina shared she does have differences with Abhinav but then she does everything due to the respect she has for their relationship. She confessed she snapped at him an hour ago but then felt bad. Salman suggested her to play skilfully and individually. He asked her to put her point of view respectfully and then joked that between husband and wife, it is only the latter who wins.

There was a difference of opinion between husband - wife Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Diliak. While the actress was active to take part in the game, husband Abhinav tried to stop her. During the captaincy task, Rubina wanted to convince all in a captaincy task between Kavita and Jasmin. But Abhinav was against this idea and tried to stop her from trying as well. Abhinav tried to justify saying, "Rubina tu itni buri ban jaayegi tujhe pata bhi nahi chalega' (you will become evil for others and you don't have any idea about). He further states that let people play the game what they want to. But Rubina won’t give up saying she is not here to sit and stare in the game. Rubina folds her hands in front of her husband and walks out from there calling him ‘Mr. Abhinav Shukla.’

The latest promo and in the upcoming episode, audiences will see a huge fight between Rubina and Abhinav. Shouting, yelling to telling each other to shut-up, the tension and ego hassles between the two seem to be quite evident. Abhinav even goes on to tell, ‘Rubina, please use your brain.’ It will be now interesting to see if the crack widens or will the couple sort out their differences in the game.
