Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sreejita De took to her Instagram handle to share sad news. The actress shared that her grandma passed away. She shared some pictures with her and penned an emotional note for her.
Sreejita wrote, "My Dimma (Grandma/Nani) left her earthly body this morning and passed on to another realm. She had a beautiful soul and lived a beautiful life, spreading love all around her. She dearly loved all her grandchildren and children. I will always miss her, her talks, bedtime stories, her warmth and the immense care she gave all of us. She will always hold a very special place in my heart. But I know, she is in a much better place now. Watching over us and sending love & care from a different realm. May her beautiful soul rest in peace. Om Shanti."
While her husband Michael wrote, " I’m so grateful that I could finally meet her this year. Such a gem of a person!! She was soo proud of you and will be looking over you forever, baby…! Om Shanti."
Sreejita De and Michael Blohm-Pape, who had a white wedding in Germany in July 2023, planned a Bengali wedding soon after. However, about a year and a half later, the couple will marry in a traditional Bengali wedding on November 10 in Goa. Sreejita shares, "It’s always been my dream to dress as a Bengali bride. We initially planned the wedding last November but work and travel kept pushing it back. Now, it’s finally happening."
