The 2023 web series titled ‘Scoop’ was inspired by her biographical memoir, "Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison." The web show starred Karishma Tanna in the lead role, where she played crime reporter Jagruti Pathak. It also featured Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Harman Baweja, and Prosenjit Chatterjee in supporting roles.

For the unversed, she faced false accusations of involvement in the murder of senior crime reporter Jyotirmoy Dey and was charged under MCOCA. She was arrested in 2011 and tried among 10 other accused including Chhota Rajan. After spending 9 months in jail, she was out on bail in 2012 from Byculla Jail in Mumbai. She was acquitted after seven long years.
At the time, Vora was working as the deputy chief of bureau of the Mumbai bureau of Indian English newspaper The Asian Age.
Talking about her personal life, in 2004, Jigna came back to her maternal home with a four-year-old son after ending her marriage on a bitter note and started pursuing her career in media.
Currently, she has transitioned into the field of tarot card reading and astrology. She is also a spiritual coach. She has been attending several talk shows talking about her personal experiences.
