Social media influencers and content creators Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar opened up about their relationship for the first time on
Bigg Boss 19's premiere episode. The couple has ever since maintained a low profile on the show. However, after Awez got nominated for eviction in the recent episode, he has been preparing Nagma to stay in the game show without him if he gets eliminated.
In the latest episode, Awez took an opportunity to make Nagma special and planned a heartwarming surprise. He surprised his ladylove on the show with the help of all the housemates.
During the episode, Awez went down on his knees and sang a romantic song for Nagma. He then expressed his feelings for her and also said the three magical words, "I Love You." Awez mentioned that Nagma always complains that he never says "I love You'.
Nagma got emotional and was teary-eyed with Awez's sweet gesture. The couple hugged each other and Nagma was seen crying.
For the uninitiated, Awez's father and veteran music composer,
Ismail Darbar, revealed that the wedding was originally planned for this December before Bigg Boss 19 came into the picture. In a conversation with Viral Television, Ismail mentioned that the couple had fixed December 26, 2025, as their wedding date, but decided to postpone it in order to participate in the reality show.
In the same interview, Ismail Darbar slammed Amaal for his statements that he gives business to Awez and Nagma. Ismail Darbar stated, "Awez Darbar never held his father’s finger, it was his father who held his. In terms of matching Awez’s level,
Amaal Mallik doesn’t have a place in this lifetime. And about the business he keeps talking about—first learn to manage your own business, son. The truth is, you haven’t achieved anything so big that you can claim to be giving business to Awez Darbar. You don’t have that standing yet. What you should admit is that you needed Awez to take your songs to the audience. So don't twist the narrative."
