Bigg Boss 19 has stirred up major buzz after a heated exchange between Farrhana Bhatt and Ashnoor Kaur during the Nomination Task. Farhana took a dig at Ashnoor’s career by labelling her as “a Television star”, implying that Ashnoor was too young and inexperienced to be on such a platform.
Farrhana remarked: “Experience aapka reh chuka hai serials main, maine serials main kabhi kaam nahi kiya… because I was never interested. Aap wo cheez bhul rahi hai ki maine filmo main kaam kiya. Abhi aapki age sirf 21 hai, aap bahut young ho. Zindagi mein abhi bahut kuch seekhna baaki hai. Aisa lagta hai ki aap thoda jaldi aa gayi ho. Thoda rukti, duniya ko dekh leti, samajhti ki kiske sahare chal sakti ho, aur kaise chalti hai. Ye sab dekhne ke baad hi aapko yahan aana chahiye tha.”
Ashnoor gave a sharp reply, reminding Farrhana of her long-standing career that began at the age of four: “Maine followers kaam karke kamayi hain jab main 4 saal ki thi. Jitni tumhari trips nahi hogi Bombay ki, usse zyada experience hai mera.”

Hina Khan came forward in support of Ashnoor, taking a subtle dig at Farhana on social media. Hina tweeted: “Is the biggest reality show of Indian Television premiered in Inox? Mere hisaab se toh Television pe hi aata hai, haina? Well, hamare Television industry ka dil itna bada hai ki koi wannabe star ban jata hai.”
Hina’s statement resonated strongly with netizens, who hailed both her and Ashnoor for defending the dignity of Indian television. Fans pointed out that Ashnoor’s journey—from Jhansi Ki Rani and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to Bollywood films like Sanju and Manmarziyaan, is proof that talent knows no boundaries, be it Television, Bollywood, or OTT.
For the uninitiated, Hina and Ashnoor worked together in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where the latter played her on-screen daughter. Even after the show, the two have maintained their bond.
At just 21, Ashnoor continues to win hearts with her versatility, while Hina’s backing amplified the respect for TV artists who have shaped Indian entertainment.
