A former contestant on 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' Ranvir Shorey recently talked about his experience on the reality show. The actor admitted he had never seen a full episode before being approached. In a discussion with Cyrus Broacha, another participant from Bigg Boss OTT 2, Ranvir expressed that he realised the show's impact only after his time on it.
Shorey referred to his experience on 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' as a “once in a lifetime opportunity,” admitting that he went in without a complete understanding of what awaited him. He recognised the show's impact only after leaving, expressing frustration over the stereotype that participants need to fight for entertainment.
Ranvir mentioned that he often saw contestants fighting for no reason on 'Bigg Boss OTT 3'. He ignored it for a while until he got hurt during a task, which made him decide to stand up to those being nasty. He realised that fighting isn't necessary to succeed on the show; contestants often overreact based on what they think is being shown.
The actor said, “I am saying you don’t have to (fight). Don’t feel the pressure of the TV show. That’s their problem, the guy who is running the show, it’s his problem, he will figure out what to put. Don’t feel the pressure that there are 200 cameras on me and I am not doing anything”.
Ranvir revealed that he had never watched 'Bigg Boss' before joining the show and only saw clips after being offered a spot. He also mentioned he hasn't watched his own season, stating, “I can’t sit through an entire episode. I don’t have the patience for it.”
