In a heartfelt moment on Celebrity MasterChef, actress Dipika Kakar announced her exit from the show due to a worsening shoulder injury. While the episode was meant to be a joyful Holi special, Dipika’s decision to leave added an emotional touch as she shared her struggles with continuing the competition.
Explaining her condition, Dipika said, “The situation has worsened. There is stiffness due to the injury, and it is increasing in my back as well.” When judge Ranveer Brar asked, “How will you cook then?” she responded with a heavy heart, “I won’t be able to cook.”
Dipika joined judge Farah Khan and shared how she had been pushing herself despite medical advice. “Two weeks back, when the injury happened, the doctor had told me the only solution was to rest. But I kept going, took breaks, and came back. However, being here and not being able to give my best doesn’t feel right because I constantly have to be cautious about my hand.”

In her vlog, she later reflected on her journey, saying, “I have learned so much. It was crazy fun and special because I was doing something I love. I will miss the show, but sometimes things are not in your control. Maybe my Celebrity MasterChef journey was meant to end here. Now, my focus is on recovery and coming back stronger.”
Meanwhile, in the same episode, food entrepreneur Zorawar Kalra joined the MasterChef kitchen as contestants took on the Black Apron challenge, seeking inspiration from their parents' blessings.
