Children's Day in India, celebrated every year on 14th November, holds a special place in everyone's hearts, as it marks the birth anniversary of India's first-ever Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. This year, we commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of the beloved Chacha Nehru.
This day is a significant occasion, dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of education and the rights of children. On this special day, Kumkum Bhagya actor Abrar Qazi from Kumkum Bhagya, took a trip down memory lane to share his heartfelt thoughts and sweet memories on the occasion of Children's Day.
Abrar Qazi, who essays the role of Rajvansh in Kumkum Bhagya said, "Children's Day always takes me back to my own childhood, when the excitement of this day would fill me with so much joy. I remember how we used to gather in school for fun activities, performances, and games — everyone dressed up, teachers included, and the whole school’s atmosphere was just filled with happiness. I recall the time when I visited a children's hospital as part of a charity event — the smiles, the energy, and the way their faces would light up just by talking to them or telling them a story, is beautiful. I realized that sometimes, it's not the grand gestures that make an impact, but the small moments of connection. A very Happy Children’s Day to everyone.”
On the work front, Abrar Qazi is known for his roles in popular TV shows. He first gained recognition with his debut in the Hindi film Laila Majnu (2018) but became a household name through his portrayal of Raghu in Gathbandhan and later as Rudraksh Khurana in Yeh Hai Chahatein. His performances have earned him a dedicated fan following, particularly for his charismatic on-screen presence and versatility.
