Cutting cakes to burning the dance floor on Punjabi music, Kapil, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and others celebrate launch of The Kapil Sharma Show's new season

The new season of The Kapil Sharma Show went on air on August 21 (Saturday). The first set of guests on the show were Ajay Devgn, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk for their film, Bhuj: The Pride of India. They were entertained by the host Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and others, along with the guest judge Archana Puran Singh. After receiving an amazing response to the first episode, the cast and crew burned the dance floor at the launch party: Let's take a look at the pictures from the party:

Kiku Sharda, who has remained with Kapil Sharma ever since the show's inception, cut the cake along with Kapil Sharma, and they fed each other. The crew jumped in joy and cheered for their new beginnings on the song, 'Abhi toh party shuru huyi hai'. Chandan Prabhakar, Rochelle Rao, Bharti Singh and many others were seen excited.

Kapil Sharma, Rochelle Rao, Chandan Prabhakar danced to the song, 'Khalli Balli Ho Gaya Hai Dil' and their excitement knew no bounds in this video. Everybody looked smart in their casuals. Chandan surprised everyone with his fitter avatar and decked in an olive t-shirt and denim.

An LED TV was in the same room where the crew and cast danced and along with dancing, they also watched the episode running in the background. Everyone was in high spirits and their zeal was evident.

Chandan Prabhakar and Kiku Sharda showed their exceptional dance skills by dancing on some popular Punjabi numbers and it's quite a sight to watch them do something other than comedy. Be it whatever, the performers very well know how to entertain their audience.

In the first episode, a clip of Akshay Kumar promoting Ajay Devgn's film was screened and later, he was seen telling Kapil in his own style that he need not show the clip until Ajay says good words for his film, BellBottom. Ajay, who watched the clip, joked, "This has been aired then why should I say?" Kapil reminded that Akshay's episode is yet to be aired and Ajay spoke good words for Akshay's film in return.

Krushna Abhishek, who reprised his character of Sapna 'parlour vali', was upset to see the parlour missing and 'Hotel Chill Palace' stationed instead. Sapna said that she will "embarrass" Kapil by speaking nonsense because he took away her parlour.
