The couple made headlines after presenting a special gift to Shoaib’s sister, Saba Ibrahim, for her newborn son. They gifted an investment policy worth Rs 51 lakh, a gesture that left Saba emotional.
In the vlog, Shoaib and Dipika also gave a glimpse of Saba’s son’s birthday celebration. They explained how they wanted to give him a gift that would be useful for his future. Saba, who frequently shares moments from her personal and family life online, also spoke about it. She mentioned how touched she was by her brother and sister-in-law’s thoughtful gesture. The policy was described as a long-term investment for her child’s future, ensuring financial stability as he grows up.
Saba expressed her gratitude in the video and admitted that the gift brought tears to her eyes. She said the gesture reflected not only their love for the baby but also their sense of responsibility towards his future. Shoaib and Dipika, who became parents themselves last year, have always shared a close-knit bond with their families. Meanwhile, Dipika Kakar is currently recovering from stage 2 liver cancer after undergoing a 14-hour surgery in June. She revealed that one of the most emotionally challenging moments following her diagnosis was abruptly weaning her two-year-old son, Ruhaan, overnight.
Speaking about her health, Dipika said, “Having my family, my son Ruhaan around, is making me feel much, much better. You all have given me so much love and I’m immensely thankful. You have been getting all the information about my treatment through Shoaib. But today I want to share what all I went through.”
She continued, “From the time we got to know about the tumour, then learning that it was malignant, to undergoing surgery, I just wanted to share everything with you all because you prayed for me like my own family.”
