Dipika Kakar gets emotional over upcoming blood tests amid cyst removal surgery; says, ‘Abhi ek darr baith gaya hai’

Dipika Kakar was diagnosed with liver cancer last year. She recently shared a vlog on her YouTube channel revealing that there has been a relapse. She underwent surgery to remove the new cyst and updated fans about the same. In a recent vlog, the actress got emotional as husband Shoaib mentioned the upcoming blood tests after the cyst removal surgery. Take a look:

In the new vlog, Shoaib mentioned that Dipika is following a new diet due to her health concerns. He said that it has been quite a challenge to follow the new routine, and hence Dipika had a few dull days. He said, “Dipika has been put on a new diet; she has a routine. She now wakes up at 7 am, goes for a walk, and is not allowed to eat anything after 7 pm.” Dipika then expressed her wish to share recipes on her YouTube channel.

Shoaib then made mocktails for the family to cheer Dipika up. He went to the kitchen and asked son Ruhaan to help him make the mocktails. The father-son duo were seen bonding together as they prepared the drinks. While Ruhaan washed the grapes, Shoaib made the juices and mocktails. The family later enjoyed Iftaar together.

As the vlog continued, Dipika requested Shoaib to let her make recipe vlogs. However, Shoaib refused and asked her to rest. He expressed his concern over Dipika’s health. He later mentioned the blood tests that are due. At this moment, Dipika started getting emotional. Shoaib shared,
“Bohot strong rehti hain ye, but sometimes woh saari baatein… ab jab maine bola 4 hafte baad tests hain… toh woh sochke… (She is very strong, but sometimes everything weighs on her. Now that I mentioned the tests, she started thinking about it).”

“When you go through these things, sitting idle makes you feel depressed, but I keep telling her not to exhaust herself. She has AFP and Febrika 2 reports after Eid; this will be the first time after the latest procedure that the tests will be done. She gets emotional occasionally; usually she stays strong, but sometimes this happens. Now, as I mentioned that she is due for blood tests four weeks after the surgery, she is crying out of fear,” Shoaib added.

Shoaib shared, “No matter how much we laugh and have fun, in the back of the mind these things stay, and the way she is being positive, we are all trying. But sometimes, there are emotional upheavals.” He then calmed her down and assured her that everything will soon be alright. Fans also shared their best wishes for Dipika in the comment section.

Dipika added, “Abhi ek darr baith gaya hai iss baar ke baad. Aap sab bhi yahi kehte ho, yakeen rakho. Har waqt dil se yahi dua nikalti hai ki aage sab theek ho, but it’s fine, hum sab ko pata hai jo hona hai woh hoga. Koi baat nahi.
