Dipika Kakar reacts to the Pahalgam Terror attack, says 'Bhayanak kahu ya dardnaak, puri tarah se hila ke rakh diya hai'
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim had recently visited Kashmir for the first time, the duo received a lot of backlash for vlogging and their social media post amid the Pahalgam Terror Attack. Now, the actress took to her vlogs to share her grief on the attack and also spoke about how they came to know about it while they were travelling back to Delhi. Here's what she shared:
Dipika on coming to know about the terror attack while returning to Delhi
When we were on the trip I had only put on and off vlogs. For the past few days, we have been experiencing different grief. You cannot explain the kind of situation. When we landed in Delhi, that is when we came to know about the Pahalgam terror. We were only aware that something had happened, but after reaching Dehli we came to know about the severity of the situation. Bhayanak kahu ya dardnaak, puri tarah se hila ke rakh diya hai.
On the devastating visuals and visiting Pahalgam few days before the attack
The videos that I saw, every time I see those videos of the ladies and kids, the visuals affect me. We were right there a few days back, though we didn't go to the Baisaran valley but those visuals where they were in the valley and suddenly a scarring incident makes you lose your dear one. The thought of itself is extremely devastating. Those who lost their family members, those kids and women who lost their fathers and husbands, we can never feel this, hum sirf ek afsos aur gussa jata sakte hai.
Dipika reacts to the attack
They had only gone to explore the city, there was so much peace in the environment. The Kashmiris are extremely welcoming and loving, you feel at peace in that place. I have said this before as well, ki kashmir mein sukoon mehsoos hota hai. Why did they go through something so traumatizing like this? Unka toh koi kusoor nahi tha!
Prays that the ones at fault get caught
Main toh dil se dua karti hoon ki, those four people whose sketch was released get caught and the people behind all of this, all of them should go through the same. Just like how these innocent people have suffered because of them, they should also suffer and go through their pain.
Views on attacks that happen in the name of religion
Jitna main Islam ko samjhi hoon, I can say this with all honesty, yeh koi imaan wala insaan kar hi nahi sakta. They would not kill someone in the name of religion, irrespective of Islam, no religion teaches to kill someone from another religion. We are all taught to live in harmony and respect each other. Those who are following these heinous acts aren't following any religion, they are only terrorists.
