Roop- Mard Ka Naya Swaroop

’ is the closest to her heart. She prototyped the role of Ishika Patel and was paired opposite to Shashank Vyas. She feels proud to have played the part after she found people from various places coming up to her and expressing their fondness towards the character. “During the time when I was doing the show, I cannot even recall the number of people who had come up to me or through sources appreciating the character which I was playing. They said, ‘Ladki ho toh aisi’ because she was someone who was headstrong, and didn’t let anyone walk over her, or take her for granted” shares Donal.

She further adds, “Looking back, I feel like I have made a strong impact with my role Ishika in Roop. Through Ishika, I formed a perspective of a strong woman in people’s eyes. The pretty actress says that not only women and men, but whole families love Ishika’s character. I have realized that people really want to see girls like Ishika more on screen” she adds.

After Roop, Donal went onto star in the TV show, ‘

Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji

’ where she replaced Jasmin Bhasin in the lead role. Donal has recently starred in a song video too opposite Krishna Kaul.
