After auditioning several actors for their mature love story, which will air on Sony Entertainment Television, Swastik Productions have finalised versatile actor Eijaz Khan to play the male lead in their upcoming project. The show, which will be co-produced by

, is tentatively titled 'Bandhe Ek Dori Se'. It is a story of a 40-year-old man falling in love with a 20-year-old girl.

Informs a source associated with the show, “Sharad Kelkar was also approached for the role, but the possibility was ruled out in the nascent stages. The makers have finally roped in

as he fits the bill perfectly. Set in Gujarat, Eijaz will be seen as a villager. The actor plans to actually stay in a village in Gujarat to learn the nuances of his character. He is growing his moustache and beard to look the part.”
