Every role is an opportunity to discover a new perspective: Roheet Gajbhiye
Actor Roheet Gajbhiye, who will be seen in the series Satrangi: Badle Ka Khel, believes his journey into acting was shaped by theatre, storytelling, and a constant desire to explore human emotions.
Recalling how acting entered his life, Roheet says it began during his first year at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai. “I discovered theatre during college, and what started as an interest soon became a passion,” he shares. “I went on to perform in more than 100 theatrical shows across India, and that experience completely transformed my understanding of storytelling.”
While many would describe the path as difficult, Roheet prefers to see challenges as learning experiences. “I wouldn’t call them struggles. They were part of understanding how the industry functions,” he explains. Being shortlisted for projects such as Dhadak 2 and Kantara: Chapter 1 but missing out on the final selection was disappointing, yet he remained focused on growth.
Looking ahead, Roheet is eager to explore diverse characters across both artistic and commercial cinema. “I don’t want to limit myself to any one genre. Every role is an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover a new perspective,” he concludes.
