After nearly eight years of courtship, Aasiya Kazi and Gulshan Nain are set to embark on a new chapter together. The couple will tie the knot on November 29 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai, with only immediate family and close friends in attendance. The wedding will be followed by an evening reception in the city.
While both Aasiya and Gulshan remained unavailable for comment, a source close to the couple shared, “Initially, their families had reservations about the relationship due to their different cultural and religious backgrounds. Despite the hesitation, Aasiya and Gulshan stood by each other unwaveringly and proved their love’s resilience over the years. After witnessing their dedication and understanding the depth of their relationship, both families came to fully support their union. Now, everyone is thrilled and preparing with great excitement for the big day.”
Aasiya and Gulshan’s journey began with a shared love for cricket. They first connected while participating in a cricket league for actors, where they developed a strong friendship that eventually blossomed into love more than eight years ago. Their relationship has been steady and strong ever since.
On the professional front, Aasiya, who became a household name with her role as Santu in Bandini, has also been part of shows such as Matti Ki Banno, Dharampatni, Hitler Didi, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2, Balika Vadhu, and Tenali Rama. Most recently, she was seen in Janam Janam Ka Saath, and, as exclusively reported by us, she is set to take on a key role in the second season of Maddam Sir, which will feature Himanshi Parashar in the lead role.
Gulshan, who was last seen in the TV show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, has been exploring opportunities in the OTT space and has appeared in series like Only For Singles, Campus Diaries, Sixer, and Fixerr.
