Actor Rumi Khan, who previously featured in Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster movie Pathaan, is now excited to feature in Gadar 2: The Katha Continues which features Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel.
He said, "In Pathaan my role with Shah Rukh was very small. But in Gadar 2, I'm playing an antagonist and enjoying a great screen time. I'm playing an army officer from Pakistan. I'm excited and counting days to film release. I enjoyed shooting for the movie. The original movie was one of my favourite and since that time I wanted to part of such a movie but I never thought I will part of the second season. I feel being part of this movie is a dream come true."
Previously Rumi also was seen as an antagonist in TV show, Alibaba - Dastaan-E-Kabul. The actor says doing Bollywood movies doesn't stop him taking TV projects.
He adds, "I was always doing TV and movies together. Now we also got another medium OTT. As an actor I wish to explore them all. I don't look forward to limit myself to any particular medium. I feel each platform has new opportunities for an actor and the audience are different for each one. I wish to connect with different audience and keep entertaining them with my acting skills."
Rumi is known for featuring in shows like shows like ‘Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh’, ‘Chandragupta Maurya’, ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’, ‘Mahabharat’ (2013) among others. He also appeared in movies like Karle Pyaar Karle, Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha among others.
