Exclusive! Arti Singh talks about the qualities she is looking for in a man

Arti Singh, who became a household name thanks to her stint in '

Bigg Boss 13

', has never shied away from talking about her desire to settle down. Arti, who is fond of children, and enjoys spending time with her brother Krushna Abhishek’s twins – Rayaan and Krishaang – is hoping to find the right man soon.

Arti says, “I am still

single

and waiting for cupid to strike. I haven’t met anyone yet. I don’t want to blame the lockdown for being unable to meet prospective grooms because I believe that if something is meant to happen, it will or if people are destined to meet, they will, no matter what. I feel my partner is coming to me on a tortoise, which is why it is taking so much time (laughs!).”

The actress admits that she has crossed the age where the only thing she is looking for in a

relationship

is romance. “Now I want a man, who can take care of me, and not just money wise, but someone who will always be there for me. I believe that a good son will always make a good husband. I have met many men, who are interested in

marriage

, but I haven’t felt strongly for anyone that I have met. I need someone who I can look at and instantly feel that he is the right man for me. Unfortunately, I haven’t felt that way for anyone,” she adds.

Arti thinks she is as filmi as Madhuri Dixit’s character, Pooja in ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ and believes that when she meets the right man, she will immediately know. “I strongly believe that God will also give me hints,” she says with a smile. “Sometimes, I wish I also had children, who would play with my nephews,” she signs off.
