Exclusive - Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si actor Romiit Raaj: My wife Tina completes me by adding more love and happiness in my life
Actor Romiit Raaj, who was last seen in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, recently celebrated 14 years of married life with his wife Tina. Romiit who is known for his work in shows like Shakalaka Boom Boom, Maayka, Ghar ki Laxmi Betiyan, Adaalat, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, amongst others shares his emotions for wife Tina and their life together so far.
”Tina is a god sent in my life. There is a reason why I have saved her number as "Angel" on my phone. I wish I had met her when I was 18 years old, I wish we had grown up together, I wish she was my first friend in life because she is a genuine girl with a golden heart who has stood by me in my highs and lows.”
Romiit also adds, ”She completes me. When I say that I mean because she is there in my world everything goes smoothly. She completes me by correcting me and helping me make the right decisions in life. We are in 2024 and as couples we understand and empower each other. She understands I need my space, I need to learn and unlearn as an actor when I prepare for roles. I work very hard and I believe work is worship so she respects that. Tina knows Romiit will reach 10 mins before call time on set so daily everything is ready for me before time. She understands when I can't take family holidays because of work commitments. She makes sacrifices at every point without complaining. On a lighter note, she even becomes an acting coach when I have a long break.”
Sharing their special moment together Romiit shares, ”The most special moment for us has been the birth of our daughter Reha. Every moment with her as a family are cherished memories.”
So who says sorry in a fight? Romiit confesses, ”Whenever we have fights, which is very rare, I always say sorry. I am a very emotional and family guy. I can't see my soul mate unhappy or complaining. Most couples fight because of petty issues and that's totally relatable. You laugh it off once sorted. If you ask me - the secret of my marriage is unconditional love and a balanced mind. I see couples getting married for all wrong reasons when the right reason is love. I feel you can't take your spouse for granted - you have to be on your best behavior with her like you were on the first date. Love your partner like there is no tomorrow, you will always be happily married. Share responsibilities of parents, kids and home equally. Live a healthy lifestyle as it impacts your married life.”
To celebrate their 14th anniversary Romiit will be going to their Pune weekend home. The plain is chilling there whole day playing sports all day and swimming. He says,”I am planning to cook a wholesome meal like mutton kosha, chicken Afghani & Prawn rawa fry because I enjoy cooking for my family and they love the meals as it has exquisite flavours.”
Romiit also adds, ”She completes me. When I say that I mean because she is there in my world everything goes smoothly.
