Exclusive - Bigg Boss 18 Salman Khan starts his birthday celebrations on sets; contestants to pay tribute to the superstar by performing on his hit songs

This time, Bigg Boss 18's Weekend Ka Vaar promises to be extraordinary with a grand celebration in store. The episode will mark Salman Khan's 59th birthday, and the makers have lined up exciting surprises to make the evening unforgettable. Salman Khan begins his birthday celebrations on the sets of Bigg Boss 18. The contestants will pay homage to the superstar by dancing to his chart-topping hits, creating a festive atmosphere.

According to sources, the makers initially planned to invite Salman Khan's family to the show, including his brother Sohail Khan, nephews Nirvaan and Arhaan Khan, and Arpita’s son Ahil Sharma. However, the plan was canceled due to security concerns.

The latest we hear is that Salman Khan's close friend and singer Mika Singh, will be seen gracing the show and entertaining everyone with his hit songs. Adding a dose of humour, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek will also be making an appearance dressed as Jackie Shroff, popularly known as Jaggu Dada. He will be joined by his comedy partner Sudesh Lehri, along with Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik and runner-up Rahul Vaidya. While sharing their experiences of working with Salman, they will also be seen taking the opportunity to promote the second season of Laughter Chefs. The shooting for the episode is taking place today (December 26).

To make Salman's birthday celebration a special one, the Bigg Boss 18 contestants prepared a heartfelt surprise for Salman Khan, paying tribute to the actor by performing on his iconic songs.

Shilpa Shirodkar will dazzle with her performance on Dil Deewana, while Avinash Mishra and Karan Veer Mehra will be showcasing their dancing skills by performing on a medley of Salman’s hits, complete with signature hook steps. The female contestants will bring energy to the stage with a lively performance on Yaar Naa Miley from Kick. Karan and Chum Durang will add a touch of romance with an emotional act on Tumse Milna Baatein Karna from Tere Naam.
