Exclusive - Bigg Boss 19's Abhishek Bajaj calls cheating allegations by ex-wife Akanksha Jindal 'baseless': says 'Our divorce was mutual, I think bashing guys is in fashion'
Bigg Boss 19's Abhishek Bajaj, who was considered as one of the strongest contestants of the season, was eliminated from the show, in a shocking twist. While Abhishek was locked inside the house, his ex-wife Akanksha Jindal made several allegations against him, including cheating during their marriage. However, after his elimination, Abhishek not only dismissed the allegations, but also stated that bashing guys is in fashion these days. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, Abhishek slammed his ex-wife and referred to her as a social parasite and fame digger.
Addressing his ex-wife's allegations, Abhishek said, "These allegations are completely baseless. Everything that happened is in the past. Our divorce was mutual and ended amicably. We were young when we got married and things did not work out so we parted ways. But it doesn't make any sense to come out now and accuse me. I feel in life, there are people who act like social parasites and fame diggers, it’s best to stay away from such negativity. I have worked hard for years to earn my place, putting in day and night of effort, and we shouldn’t let others take advantage of that. That's why I believe we should refrain from engaging in such conversations or giving attention to such people.I think bashing guys is in fashion these days."
Abhishek also spoke about the cheating allegations against him, "You’ve seen how much I value relationships and the effort I put into maintaining them. I’ve always stood by my friends, be it Awez, Pranit, Ashnoor, or GK. I’m someone who stays loyal no matter what, even when others don’t. When Awez left, I was heartbroken, completely shattered. I genuinely care about the people I bond with. People watching the show will understand what kind of person I am. They can judge me based on my actions. Loyalty has always been my core, whether in friendships or relationships. If I can be this devoted to my friends, imagine how deeply I value my relationships. For me, friendship or relationships isn’t about convenience; it’s about commitment. No matter what others say, I’ve treated everyone equally and given my all. My friends truly matter to me, and my loyalty never changes, whether anyone stands by me or not," he concluded.
