Actor

Worship Khanna

, who is seen in

Meri Doli Mere Angna

, shared the plight of people staying away from their families during festivals.

Speaking to ETimes TV, the actor shared, “I realised that all my co-stars, neighbours are leaving for their hometowns. I got emotional seeing them leave. It hurts. You wish to celebrate Diwali with family and friends. And due to various professions, when we have to leave our homes, we miss these special occasions more as we don’t get to celebrate it with our family.”

He added, “We look for a job and when we get a job, we have to stay away from home. I just feel for those who have to stay away from home for jobs. As actors, we respect our profession and we sacrifice such festivals by staying away from our families. I am currently shooting for a show.”

In Meri Doli Mere Angna, Worship is seen in the role of

Vijayendra Singh

, a spoilt and irresponsible guy with grey shades.

Worship has previously done shows like

Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka

, Kumkum Bhagya, Ishq Subhan Allah, Kunwara Hai Par Hamara Hai, CID and a few others.

He did a few shows on the web platform too, post-lockdown, and will be seen in a daily soap once again.
