Exclusive - Jagadhatri actress Yesha Harsora talks about Valentine's Day: I feel you must cherish every moment with your partner anyway
Valentine’s Day is around and we couldn’t help but ask the beautiful Yesha Harsora about her definition of Valentine’s Day. She says, “It is beautiful. One should celebrate it. But I feel you must cherish every moment with your partner anyway. Having said that, on Valentine’s, things should be a little more extraordinary and special so your partner feels extra special.”
But does she feel pressure to celebrate, or is it just another day, and has that perspective changed over time? She adds,”I see it as a celebration. I don’t think it’s a pressure. If you’re with the right person, it naturally feels special. It’s just about putting in that little extra effort for each other. As an artist, I want to add that we get many ideas when shooting romantic scenes. Sometimes I feel like, “Oh, we can actually do this or that in real life.” So yes, I would definitely implement some of those romantic gestures in my personal life.”
But are you someone who enjoys self-love rituals on Valentine’s Day, or do you prefer to keep it low-key?
“It depends on my mood, I can do both. Sometimes I like celebrating and going all out, and sometimes I’m perfectly happy keeping it simple and low-key. People often ask me what qualities I value most in a partner today. I would say I value someone who is smart, and intellectual. Most importantly, he should understand my career and schedule as an actor, it can be difficult for a non-actor to truly adapt to that lifestyle. He should be a family man who understands the value of family and I would love if my partner would be a tall man.”
