Exclusive - Kashmera Shah on Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja attending Arti Singh's wedding: I want them to attend; don’t want to keep any kind of malice

Kashmera Shah is beaming with happiness as her sister-in-law Arti Singh prepares to marry Dipak Chauhan tonight at Iskcon Temple, Juhu. The wedding festivities have brought joy to Kashmera and Arti's brother Krushna Abhishek. Kashmera's close bond with Arti is evident in her efforts, including arranging a special bridal shower. In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Kashmera shared insights into the wedding preparations and her relationship with Arti and Dipak Chauhan. This being the house of the wedding, there is absolutely just one word for it, 'chaos'. We are all very emotional and happy that Arti is getting married and she has found the groom of her choice. That is the most important thing for any bride to be loved by the person that she is going to be married to and share the next 10,000 meals with. So, I think she’s choosing well. This phase is very emotional for us. If anyone knows Arti they know that she has always wanted to get married since she was a child. It is a very good, proud moment for all of us that she’s finally getting married, but of course we are heavy at heart because she’s like the baby of the family. We are looking forward to the wedding and yet we are pretty nervous but we know that Arti has selected her life partner well. We know that she is a sensible person and we know that we will always be there in her life so she doesn’t have to worry about anything. I’m extremely proud that I finally have a brother-in-law too. Everybody is taking care of every arrangement. Whether it is her brother or her husband and yes, I primarily took care of the bridal shower because I wanted to do something special for her that only I could and I’m very happy that she was very happy. The next wedding will only be of my twin kids. Yes, I think when I see her wedding somewhere or the other, I feel happy because Krushna and I opted for a very quiet wedding. We both knew that the big wedding would be of Arti like Krushna and I always said that we never wanted a wedding. We always wanted a marriage and I think we proved that but we want to spoil Arti with so much happiness with so much love that we are not looking at the expense at all. (Photo: Instagram)

Having said that, I would also like to add that Arti has been very sensible. She has not done anything that would take us to the cleaners and in fact her husband has also chipped in a lot. He has not allowed us to do the maximum at all and has done a lot more than you would expect a groom to do so I'm very happy that he’s a very sensible and respectful young man. (Photo: Instagram)

It’s a good occasion and I want them (Govinda and Sunita) to attend. I don’t want to keep any kind of malice towards them. It’s not my wedding. It’s Arti‘s wedding and I think it would make Arti very happy, if they attended. In the end, I am the sister-in-law and the daughter-in-law of the family and I will welcome them with open arms.
