Exclusive - Nehha Pendse: Madam Sanjana is way close to my heart than Anita Bhabhi because Saumya Tandon did a great job in Bhabhi Ji

Nehha Pendse, who returned to television with May I Come In Madam season 2, recently joined ETimes TV for an exclusive conversation. The actress spoke about her new show May I Come In Madam? 2, bonding between actors and more. She also opened up about how she manages her shoot schedules to stay fit. She further spoke about how the character of Madam Sanjana is closer to her heart than her stint in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain and shared that she feels Saumya Tandon has done a great job as Anita Bhabhi. We are very happy that we got this opportunity to do the second season. Not everyone gets this opportunity to come back with a second season but fortunately we have got it. This has made us believe that people liked our work last season and they haven’t forgotten us and it is because of their love that we have got this second chance. I said yes immediately to the show as this was not a topic to think upon. But we had to do revision of our characters because 5 years have passed since we last portrayed them and we all took up something or the other in between. In fact, I would like to tell my fans that the fans which are being circulated I’ve taken reference from them for season 2 because I knew this is what the audience is enjoying. There is no point in taking pressure as you have to understand that a show never works because of just one person. It doesn’t flop due to any single reason, it is always about teamwork. For a show to do well it has to have a combination of everything. It is like a recipe. Sometimes you find it tasty, sometimes you don’t like it. When there are so many elements involved behind making a show you can’t control everything. You should look at improving your performance because that is under your control. You should keep the atmosphere on sets light, not trouble anyone, if someone is going through a tough time on the sets, cheer them up. This can be your contribution for the show. Jitni main Iss character se judi hoon Yaa jitna ye character Mujhse Juda hai utna bhabhi ji ke set par nahi hua because I personally feel Saumya Tandon did a great job as Anita Bhabhi. I entered the show as a replacement and completed my contract. We had a lot of fun shooting. Yes, I put in a lot of effort to maintain my fitness regime. I would like to give credit to my producer Binaifer Kohli that she gives me maximum days to workout. I actually have a tendency of gaining weight if I’m not working out. I’m very thankful for her consideration because not everyone offers this consideration. I am very grateful. I also want to look good but after shooting for 12/14 hours everyday it gets difficult to workout regularly. (Photo: Instagram)
