Exclusive- Not Manasvi Vashist, Karan Vohra to play lead opposite Ulka Gupta in the upcoming show

There has been a buzz that Manasvi Vashist was approached for a new show as lead opposite Ulka Gupta. However, now ETimes TV has exclusively learnt that not Manasvi, Karan Vohra who was last seen in Imlie opposite Megha Chakraborty has been locked for the show.


A source close to the show shared, "Manasvi was approached but we were sure when we saw Karan that he was the apt pick for the character. Karan Vohra will be seen opposite Ulka Gupta. The show has an interesting storyline, not much can I share for now but fans are surely going to love the leads in this show."

The show is helmed under Full House Media Productions. After Banni Chow Home Delivery and Dhruv Tara, Ulka Gupta is finally back on TV as the lead. While talking about Karan, the actor garnered love with his performance in Imlie as Arto aka Atharva. During his stint with the show, the dapper was blessed with twin boys.




Karan had exclusively shared with BT his take on making an exit from Imlie due to the generational leap, "After Krishna Chali London (2019), I went away to Delhi and was there during the pandemic. It took a while for makers to give me a chance again. And when I came back, I was not sure if I would be able to crack lead roles again. But, thankfully, the makers found me appropriate for the lead role in Imlie and everything fell in place. So, I am glad that the show gave me the recognition I needed and it revived my career after a lull of two years."
