In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Bhairavi's onscreen grandson from Nima Denzongpa, Raghav Thakur shared that he had been trying to contact her for the past few months and the news of her demise came as a shock to him.

Raghav said, "When I came to know about dadi aka Bhairavi Vaidya, I was shocked. I felt really bad, I have always called her Dadi and we shared that adorable bond together. Not just me, but all of us on the sets of Nima Denzongpa used to call her Dadi with love. She used to consider me as her grandkid only."

"When I came to Mumbai from Delhi for the first time. I entered my first show and felt like I was in a new place and I had nobody there. After working for a few days I realised that I had found a family on set. Bhairavi ji was my Dadi in the true sense and she took a lot of care. Her last reel on Instagram is also with me," he added.

Raghav also shared fond memories with her and revealed that he had been trying to contact her, "She was not social media savvy but we used to force her to shoot reels with her. She used to get so happy and participate in all these trendy things with us. Now that she is not with us, I feel extremely sad about it. I came to know it suddenly. For the past few months, I was unable to stay in touch with her. Whenever I called she didn't pick up so I thought she must be busy."

He was unaware of Bhairavi's critical state, "When I met everyone, I came to know that she had been critically ill for the past few months and was on bed rest. I always thought we were all stuck in busy schedules but all I can say is that may she find peace and I will dearly miss her."
