Rakhi Sawant's husband Adil Khan Durrani who was brought to Oshiwara police station after being directed by the Dindoshi court has been sent to police custody until February 20.

Adil was arrested after Rakhi filed a case accusing him of domestic violence, infidelity and fraud.

A case was filed against him under various sections of the IPC, including sections 323 (punishment for knowingly causing hurt), 377 (unnatural offences), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 498-A (husband subjecting the woman to cruelty), 504 (intentional insult), and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

Rakhi Sawant's lawyer Falguni exclusively spoke to ETimes TV and shared that Adil has been remanded to police custody. She said, "According to yesterday's court order, he was produced before the Magistrate and was remanded to Police custody till February 20."

Previously, the detailed decision of the Magistrate court was yet to be made public, but the Sessions court has also directed the Superintendent of Arthur Road Jail to hand over custody of Adil Khan Durrani to the investigating officer of Oshiwara police station. The court order also stated that Durrani should be brought before the Magistrate's court on Thursday for extended remand.

Earlier, Rakhi Sawant spoke to the media about her troubled marriage after her mother died. She also accused her husband Adil Khan Durrani of extramarital affairs, physical violence, and fraud. She grieved in front of the press multiple times and is now seeking justice for the severe injustice done to her.

She had also accused Tanu Chandel of having an extramarital affair with her husband and said that she will file a case against them for cheating on her.
