Exclusive- Rupali Ganguly’s brother and choreographer Vijay reacts to his sister joining BJP; says, “Our late-father was a supporter of BJP, he would be so proud of her”

Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly embarked on a new journey as she joined political party BJP. The actress took it to her social media and shared with her fans about the same. ETimes TV got in touch with her brother and choreographer Vijay Ganguly to ask about his reaction. He expressed his excitement over the same and praised the Anupamaa actress.
Vijay mentioned how their late-father Vijay was also a BJP supporter and hence would be very proud of Rupali.Fans and close ones from the industry are quite excited for Rupali and have praised her for the same.
Vijay said, “I just now got to know about it and I’m so happy as this what she wanted to do. She wanted to join politics and it has happened and it’s so good. Papa was also a supporter of BJP so he would be up there and would be so proud of her. We just hope that whatever she wants to do in life, whatever decisions that she takes, we all just wish that she flourishes and does well. The whole family is very happy for her. Mummy is also very happy.”
Producer Rajan Shahi also reacted to the news and wished the actress best. He said, “I’m extremely proud of the fact that Rupali joined BJP. She is a very hardworking and dedicated person. She’s a good soul and we need people like her to join active politics. Knowing the fact that she is so dedicated, she will work really and the kind of impact she has as Anupamaa, she will use it to her advantage. I know she will do really well. Smriti Irani ji has already made all of us proud when she joined BJP. She should take inspiration from that. Rupali is very committed to her work so I don’t h see any problem them. We are there to support her in all the endeavours.”
