Reality star Shiv Thakare, who is all set to start his new innings with the upcoming show The 50, addressed his recent wedding photos that went viral on social media. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, the actor clarified that the photos were from a shoot for his upcoming project. He also revealed that he was scolded by his mother, while everyone from Farah Khan to Bharti Singh reached out to congratulate him, thinking he had actually gotten married. Speaking about the viral photos, he said, "I shared the picture just for fun after the shoot wrapped up. Once the post went viral and people started believing that Shiv Thakare had gotten married, all hell broke loose. My mother was scolding me badly because she kept getting non-stop calls from relatives, asking why they weren’t invited to the wedding. Everyone had to be told that it was just a prank, and they even said that I always end up doing something like this. My sister, who was in college at the time, also started receiving calls and people were asking her why they were not informed about the wedding. Even my manager was flooded with calls."The winner of Bigg Boss Marathi shared how he was flooded with calls and messages after he posted the wedding photos, "No one knew about it.
After the shoot, I didn’t even change my outfit and had to travel from Alibaug to Mumbai. Since I was still wearing the same clothes, I decided to prank a few friends on the way. They actually believed I had gotten married. I posted the pictures on Instagram just for fun, but it went viral. Within two to four hours, I started getting a flood of messages and calls."He further shared that several celebrity friends and seniors, including Farah Khan and Bharti Singh, also reached out to him. "People from the Khatron team called me too—Anjali scolded me, Arjit abused me, and everyone from Farah ma’am to Bharti Singh reacted. Even people like Ranvijay sir called me up. I had to keep apologising and explain to everyone, ‘Sir, sorry, it was just a shoot. I’m not married,’” said Shiv.
