Exclusive - Shivam Khajuria: Success is about building lasting relationships
Shivam Khajuria, who essays the role of Prem in Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi, believes that true success in the entertainment industry goes beyond fame and screen time. “People who really understand cinema recognize the depth and the X factor in someone’s performance. Being everywhere doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have talent to back it up,” he says.
For Shivam, it’s the bonds he builds that matter most. “Success, for me, isn’t about being seen in every reel or every award show—it’s about building lasting relationships. If the people I’ve worked with still want to work with me after long, exhausting shoot days, that’s real success in my book,” he shares.
While many openly declare their dreams, Shivam prefers a quieter route. “I keep my ambitions to myself. That way, they’re never judged, questioned, or misinterpreted. I believe in quiet moves and loud results. I’ve got my eyes on my goals, and once they’re achieved, people will know,” he says with a confident smile.
Fame can be intoxicating, but Shivam believes his grounded nature comes from his upbringing. “The first 16–17 years of your life shape the next 80. No matter how much fame or money comes your way, it’s your foundation that keeps you real,” he says.
“I remind myself daily of the values and lessons that keep me grounded, no matter where life takes me, "he says.
In a world chasing constant visibility, Shivam stands out by choosing values, relationships, and authenticity over noise. His journey is a reminder that talent, humility, and the right intent never go out of style.
