Rakhi Sawant's estranged husband Adil Khan got married to Bigg Boss 12 fame Somi Khan. The duo went for an intimate wedding in Somi's home town Jaipur followed by a reception at Adil's home in Bangalore. Adil took to his Instagram handle to share the happy news with his fans and shared pictures from their wedding. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Somi Khan talks about her wedding and preparations for their first Ramadan and Eid together.
When asked about the wedding, Somi said, "Well, it wasn't a hush-hush wedding, we had our family members and close friends. It was more of an intimate affair. The wedding date was finalised by Adil and my parents a few months back. The only reason why we didn't come out and talk about it early was because we didn't want any negativity or controversy in our marriage."
Somi further shared how this would be their first Ramadan after marriage, "The excitement of our marriage is still not over and soon our first Ramadan will begin. The preparations for the holy month have already begun, Can't wait to spend our first Ramadan and then celebrate Eid together."
In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Adil Khan has also shared about the wedding and his take on how people shall react to the wedding, "I shouldn’t fear or I would say I don’t fear all this because, at the end of the day, I’m a married man now. We have done a proper nikah in front of the world and our families. I got betrayed and cheated, I got a lot of hatred in my last relationship and it was the worst thing that happened to me in my life. Now, I deserve to be happy. Allahmuddin I’m blessed to have such a beautiful, nice soul around me. She stood by me in the difficult situations I had in my life. There is nothing bigger that could happen in my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with her."
The duo also took to their Instagram handle to share a cute video as they celebrated their first Jummah together after the wedding.
