Exclusive - Tanish Mahendru steps in a new avatar in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai; says 'My return to the Kyunki universe feels both nostalgic and refreshing'
Tanish Mahendru, popularly known for playing the negative role of Ranvijay in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, makes a striking entry into its spin-off, Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai.
Speaking about his entry, he shared, "I'm excited to join this show. But for a change, my audience will see me this time as Bade Sahab, a figure of authority, mystery, and immense influence. My return to the Kyunki universe feels both nostalgic and refreshing. Fans who once loved me for my intensity as Ranvijay will now see me play a completely different shade of power. As Bade Sahab, I'm introduced as the formidable owner of the factory where Angad and Vrinda work. This is a role that instantly places me at the center of unfolding drama."
With Tanish in this role, viewers can expect power, mystery, and some surprises.
He continued, "Bade Sahab is not just a businessman, he is a man whose decisions ripple through the lives of those around him. His entry is expected to bring a new dynamic to the storyline. It will especially impact the lives of Angad and Vrinda, whose professional and personal journeys are already layered with emotion and conflict."
"Having been part of one of Indian television’s most celebrated shows, it gives me a sense of familiarity that resonates deeply with audiences. Yet, my transformation into Bade Sahab signals growth, evolution, and a readiness to explore more complex roles and I'm looking forward to it," he added.
He concluded by promising more drama for the viewers. "As the story progresses, his past, motives, and relationships may unravel in surprising ways, adding depth to the narrative. Will he be a mentor, a manipulator, or something in between? That’s a question viewers are already eager to have answered. All I can say that the stage is set for a compelling new chapter—one that blends nostalgia with fresh storytelling in true Kyuki style."
Tanish has also featured in shows like Rabb Se Hai Dua, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. He also acted in the film Hungama 2.
