Speaking about what makes television special, she says, “TV is actually the big screen because we meet audiences every day. Unlike films, where the impact is limited to a single release, television gives us a chance to connect and create an impact daily.”

Vaishali’s journey in Udne Ki Aasha has been an exciting one. The show, which revolves around middle-class struggles and family dynamics, has struck a chord with audiences. “It’s a very earthy, simple, and relatable story. The characters bring different perspectives, which is why people see themselves in the show. That relatability is what makes it special,” she explains.

Playing Ria, a strong and modern woman, has been a rewarding experience for Vaishali. However, she admits that the response to the show has exceeded her expectations. “I knew Ria would be loved, but I didn’t anticipate that audiences would be so invested in every aspect of the show—the storyline, the plot, every character. It’s been overwhelming and fulfilling at the same time.”

Vaishali shares a strong bond with her co-stars, including Roshni and Saili, who play the two daughters-in-law in the show. “We are great friends off-screen, and that chemistry reflects in our performances. Even Aakash, who is paired opposite me, is a wonderful co-actor, and we have a great time shooting together.”

For Vaishali, acting is more than just a profession—it’s a passion. “My work is my form of worship. If I don’t shoot for a few days, I start missing my set, my people, and my character. That’s how deeply I love being an actor,” she says.
