Faisal Shaikh opens up about his marriage plans and his would-be-wife on Bharti Singh-Haarsh Limbachiyaa's show; says 'Meri Ammi ne dekhi hai'
Faisal Shaikh, also known as Mr. Faisu, initially rose to prominence as a social media sensation. However, he gained further recognition following his participation in reality shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He recently appeared on Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa's podcast where he opened up about his marriage plans.
During their conversation Bhati quizzed Faisal about his marriage plans. Responding to the same, he said, "Shaadi ka scene hai. Inshallah ek dedh saal mein" (Yes there's a wedding plan, God willing, it should happen in a year and a half)."
He immediately reminded Bharti that she has to attend his wedding whenever it happens and not just attend it, but also host the same. He told Bharti, "Bharti didi, bhoolo mat maine apko bola hai aap meri shadi mein aa rahe ho aur apne bola tha ki main anchoring karungi' (Bharti didi, don't forget I told you that you are coming to my wedding and you had said that you will be hosting at my wedding."
Bharti, who shares a special bond with Faisal immediately agreed to Faisal and promised him that she and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa would do hosting at his wedding. Faisal Shaikh, during the podcast with Haarsh Limbachiyaa, was asked about his life partner. Initially, he joked about his mother's advice not to talk about any girl during the show. “Meri Ammi ne khas mereko sikha kar bheja hai ki koi bhi ladkiyon ki baat mat karna tum show mein (My mother has especially taught me not to talk about any girls). However, when Bharti Singh asked him about his future wife and particularly if she would be from Mumbai, Faisal replied that he doesn't know about that because his mother is overseeing the process of finding a partner for him. “Wo nahi pata hai mujhe meri Ammi ne dekhi hai (I don't know about it as my mother has seen it).”
Faisal addressed the question of why he's disclosing his relationship before marriage by stating that he plans to marry within one and a half years. He mentioned his age, being twenty-eight, and expressed concern for his aging mother. He clarified that his decision to disclose his relationship and plan for marriage is not for personal benefit but rather because he sees no point in delaying marriage, possibly emphasizing the importance of family and fulfilling his responsibilities towards his mother.
