Faiz Baloch on having Adnaan Shaikh and Mr Faisu in 'The 50'; says, 'Whenever I feel like things are getting out of control, I'll have them as my support system'
Faiz Baloch is all set to be viewed in a totally different avatar as he enters the high-octane reality show, The 50. Known for his strong online presence and content, Faiz is now entering a format that is all about survival, instincts, and mental strength. With 50 contestants in one place, the show is all set to offer a raw test of endurance, strategy, and self-confidence.Talking about the type of challenges that excite him the most in The 50, Faiz says that he is eagerly waiting to experience challenges that have no escape and no external validation. He says, “I’m excited to experience challenges where there’s no escape where you have to deliver no matter what. No phone, no audience feedback, no comfort zone. Just instincts, strength, and survival. That’s where you discover who you are.In a game where relationships can easily become tactics, Faiz thinks that the key to survival is finding a balance between the two options rather than going to extremes. Talking about trust and playing the game inside the house, Faiz goes on to say, “I think The 50 balances out. You need honesty to make real connections, but you also need to play smart to survive.
Blind trust won’t cut it, nor will pretending to make connections.Being around 49 others with the pressure of competition all the time can affect anyone’s confidence, but Faiz finds solace in his experiences and his loved ones. Talking about how he is going to keep himself grounded, Faiz shares his deep friendship with Adnaan Shaikh and Faisal Shaikh, also known as Faisu, and how important their support is to him. Faiz says, “I keep telling myself where I come from and how much I’ve already survived. Comparison is natural, but confidence comes from knowing your own journey. One of the biggest advantages I have here is my people Adnaan Shaikh and Faisu bhai. They’re not just friends, they’re my brothers. Whenever I feel like things are getting too much or out of control, I know I have them as my support system. In life, whenever I’ve felt low or confused, they’ve always been there for me, and I know it will be the same inside the house. We have each other’s backs, and that gives me the strength to stay grounded. I’m not here to be better than anyone else, I'm here to be better than yesterday’s version of myself.”The 50 is all set to premiere from February 1st.
