From being rushed to the hospital while shooting to quitting the show; Dipika Kakar on her Celebrity MasterChef journey

Dipika Kakar recently opened up about her intense journey on Celebrity MasterChef India in a heartfelt vlog. From being rushed to the hospital mid-shoot to ultimately quitting the show, the actress shared the highs and lows of her experience. She detailed the challenges she faced, including health issues and the emotional toll of competing. Fans were shocked to learn about her struggles, making her story even more inspiring.

I went to another doctor and after getting sonography done, I have lymph nodes. I was under a medication course. So then I continued with the wall challenge in the show. After completing the course, and 4-5 days later, that pain started. I had to shoot the entire day and I stretched myself till the tasting.

I had to rush to the hospital at night and MRI was done. Doctor found an injury. Now, there’s no treatment or course. It is a slow process. I have to immobilize that part. I have to put in conscious effort. I cannot make any rigorous moment.

I was in a spot regarding what to do. I had to rest for 3-4 days. It had settled a bit. It is a competition and you are giving your best. I cannot block my hand. I kept pushing myself. We were in the wedding special episode and that’s my last. It is a reality show and a competition. A daily soap can be handled because you are not required all the time and it can be played around other characters. So I had to give my entire time here. But I have to thank the production team. They have supported me fully. 12th February was my last episode when Hina Khan and Rocky came.

I have learnt a lot. It was crazy fun. It was very special for me because I was getting to do what I love. I will miss the show. Sometimes things are not in your hands. I don’t even know how the injury happened. Maybe my Celebrity MasterChef was supposed to be till here. Now my focus is to get better and come back with some show.
