From dining out together to offering her a web series: What's cooking between Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev and ex-wife Charu Asopa?

Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen and wife Charu Asopa were granted a divorce on June 8. Right after, Rajeev spoke to BT and expressed his desire to get back together with Charu. The couple has been clear about being cordial with each other for the well-being of their daughter, Zaina. And now both are raising many eyebrows for being all lovey-dovey on their recent outing on Father's day. A look at what's happening in their lives post divorce:

It was pretty much a part of their Father's Day plan. Charu met up with Rajeev. They dined out together and clicked videos and selfies together. Charu and Rajeev were seen getting all romantic and blushy.

Rajeev took Ziana out for shopping. It gave him a chance to spend the day with her. Also, it turned out to be quite a family outing together as Charu was with them all through.

Charu got a customised cake for Father's Day that read, "I have a Hero and I call him Dad." Rajeev cut the cake with Ziana. Rajeev was all praise for the cake and called it the 'yummiest' he has ever had.

Rajeev, who had come to Charu's place, shared that it's his first Father's Day with Ziana, technically. He wasn't around the last time. He spent some time playing with Ziana. Charu was by their side.

Rajeev shared in his vlog that he wants to work with Charu and has offered her a web series that stars him. He said, "I have told Charu about this project. I will be very happy if she can be one of my co-actors in it. Of course, I will give her a very good role. Script is fantastic. I am sure she will go through the script. Charu and I haven't worked together professionally. We have done a lot of vlogging together. So this will be a treat for the fans."

He added, "The script of Kaka Juice demands a good performance. Charu, being a good actor, will do a great job. Sharing the screen with her will be even more special. We will have fun, the dialogues are very interesting. It's going to be very special. So I am hoping that Charu joins the team and we can work together. Charu will also get a role where she will be able to do justice to it and enjoy it."

Post their divorce, Charu has been sharing in her vlogs how she has been busy giving auditions and then finally doing a look test for an upcoming TV show. The only thing she is nervous about is managing Ziana along with her hectic shoot life.

Rajeev Sen, who is receiving love and popularity for his short film ‘Hasrat’ is gearing up for his upcoming project. Rajeev offered a role to ex-wife Charu Asopa in his upcoming project and opened up about it in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV. He added, "The casting is still on. We begin shooting next month for it. I have offered Charu a role in the film which is extremely challenging and given the fact that she is a brilliant actor she will do complete justice to it. Also Charu and I have never shared screen space and this will be our first over and above our youtube videos. So let's hope she agrees."

After their divorce on June 8, Rajeev shared how he hopes to get back together with Charu in the near future. He told BT, "I also hope someday Charu and I can get back together again." Not just this, in his vlog, Rajeev said he regrets not asking for more time from his lawyer on the final day of their hearing.
