From giving a tour of her houseboat in Srinagar to shopping jewellery and clothes; Dipika Kakar shares a sneak peek of her Kashmir trip with husband Shoaib and son Ruhaan

Dipika Kakar is holidaying in the beautiful landscape of Kashmir. The actress is on a family vacation with son Ruhaan, husband Shoaib Ibrahim and his cousin Rehaan. Dipika has been sharing every update of her trip in vlogs for her YouTube channel. From buying authentic suits, shawls to jewellery and staying in a houseboat, the actress has been enjoying her stay in Kashmir to the fullest. Here's a sneak peek: (Photo: Instagram)

The Sasural Simar Ka actress has been wanting to go to Kashmir for sometime and finally the plan has come to reality in 2025. Dipika in her latest Vlog showed the beautiful picturesque landscape and scenery during her stay in Sonmarg. She mentioned in the video that the locations are so beautiful in Kashmir that it is a must visit place. They stopped in between to click photos, videos and reels. While shooting for a reel Dipika dipped her feet in water which was freezing cold. Dipika, Shoaib, their cousin Rehaan and staff recalled childhood memories of playing with stones. Dipika also shared a sneak peek of her hotel The Village Walk which was very close to the Thajiwas glacier. She informed the viewers that they booked the hotel close to the glacier for its view and as they were planning to visit the glacier. The actress shared that she couldn’t shoot much content for the video as her son Ruhaan fell ill due to the cold weather and she had to be with him. She decided to stay back and forced husband Shoaib to visit the glacier as it was their cousin Rehaan’s first visit and she did not want to miss the opportunity. (Photo: Instagram)

Dipika mentioned in her video that the hotel was located between the mountains which is the best place to unwind and relax from the hustle bustle of city life. They went shopping and bought clothes for their son Ruhaan. Dipika also bought a Kashmiri suit for herself and the shopkeepers gifted her a shawl out of love and respect. She thanked her. Next, Dipika, Shoaib and family left for Srinagar and the actress gave a tour of the house boat they were staying at. The actress informed them they came via road as it started raining and the climate was bad. Normally, guests come by Shikara to the houseboats. She showed how Shoaib, Ruhaan and Rehaan spoke to the family on a video call. The Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actress, who is fond of jewellery, did not miss a chance to buy authentic silver Kashmiri neck piece, earrings. She shared the glimpses of beautiful necklaces and earrings. Dipika ended up buying the authentic needle and lead earring. She loved the design and bought it as she can wear it in her day-to-day life. (Photo: Instagram)

The next day began with Dipika showing the beautiful blue sky, breathtaking view from her houseboat early in the morning. They stayed at New Jacqueline Heritage and the view was to die for. She showed the lobby, breakfast area and the private deck area. She was seen spending time with son Ruhaan at the deck area as he relaxed on her shoulders. (Photo: Instagram)

Dipika got ready and wore a beautiful Kashmiri back suit which she bought in Sonmarg. She looked pretty in the black suit with white embroidery on it. She tied her hair in half and kept it open which enhanced her look. Dipika also showed her son Ruhaan’s look for the day. Even he wore a Kashmiri woollen outfit which Dipika bought for him. Dipika continued to show the houseboat interiors and the other areas. She informed the audience that the interiors were done using walnut wood. Dipika gave a glimpse of her morning breakfast. From Upma, poha, paratha, the houseboat they stayed at served the Ibrahim family with scrumptious meal. The actress couldn’t stop herself from praising the food. She also heaved a sigh of relief as her son, Ruhaan was feeling better.
