From Parmeet Sethi facing major loss in garment business to Archana Puran Singh faking an employment letter to stay in YWCA; The duo recall their humble beginnings in the Industry

Archana Puran Singh's vlogs have brought some amusing delight to fans as she gives a slice of her routine. With her fresh vlog, Archana shares a fun family time. Where all four of them share their intriguing stories with each other while playing Snakes and Ladder. Here's what they all discussed:

I have been receiving so many comments that why I address Parmeet as 'tu', he is my husband and I should show him respect. I want to say that Parmeet is younger than me. He should address me as 'aap' instead. Aaj se tu mujhe aap bola kar. I am seven years older than him.

I came to Mumbai by train from Dehradun. I had just one suitcase and I went to YWCA where you have to take a letter that you are working. I had taken a fake letter from a friend and sought help to stay there. So early morning after breakfast I had to leave because they thought I used to work. So I used to go out and go for auditions. Then I once got my portfolio done and those pictures were terrible. Parmeet further jokes, 'Train mein gana bhi gaati thi.'

When Shrimaan Shrimati was being shot, Archana was shooting in my next-door neighbour's house. That was the first time I saw her there. When I was really young. Archana was 21 and I was 14. Archana jokes, 'Accha hua nahi mile, warna main bolti beta..'

I was quite frustrated in college and we weren't financially stable. I wanted to do business so I borrowed Rs 500 from my Nani and went to Delhi on the train. There I bought export clothes from my uncle and came to sell them. We used to get art galleries on rent so I kept an exhibition for 3 days and from that I earned Rs 25,000 profit. From that, I began my earning. I started my business in garment exports and took orders from my uncle but then suddenly all orders got cancelled because Europe got hit with recession.

I remember I was shooting somewhere and he called at my hotel sharing about his loss. He was so dejected and he was crying so I told him that he could cover the monetary loss but if something had happened to him then that wouldn't come back.

My first job was where Om Puri was doing an Ad film and I was a junior artist in that while he was the hero. I had earned Rs 100 for that job and I was dancing on the streets of Tardeo in full joy. That cheque had made me so happy. After a few years, I did a film where Om Puri was the hero and I played the heroine in it and then I guess film was called off and didn't get released.

I had gotten my pictures clicked but they were so terrible. That was my first photoshoot before I bagged my first project. She started off her journey with ad films and soon she began with TV shows and Films. She was only 21 when she did Shrimaan Shrimati.
