Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia first met in the Bigg Boss 14 house, where they entered as contestants. At first they didn’t get along and seemed to have a lot of differences. They were seen having several massive fights inside the Bigg Boss house as well.

After a couple of weeks the two developed a good understanding with each other. They became good friends and started to stand up for one another whenever required. Their friendship soon turned into a romantic relationship and it was quite evident.

Pavitra and Eijaz’s relationship started inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. They were seen enjoying cute moments inside the show and impressing the fans. In the family week, Eijaz was even seen expressing his love for Pavitra.

Post-the show, Eijaz and Pavitra spent most of their time together. The former couple kept fans posted and shared pictures and videos of how they have been enjoying every moment with one another. From hanging out with one another’s friends and family members to enjoying every festival together, the relationship seemed like a dream to the fans.

Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia got engaged in October 2022. The actor shared photos from his sweet proposal to Pavitra Punia on Instagram and made their fans very happy. The two are seen smiling in the photos and in one of them Pavitra was even caught blushing in a moment of disbelief. Pavitra announced the breakup with Eijaz Khan after two years of dating. In an exclusive interview with BT, Pavitra said, “There is a shelf-life for everything, nothing is permanent. In relationships, too, there can be a shelf-life. Eijaz and I parted ways a few months ago and I will always wish him well. I respect him a lot, but the relationship did not last.” Ejaz, on the other hand said, “I hope Pavitra finds the love and success she deserves. She will always be a part of my duas.”

Reacting to numerous fan questions regarding her breakup with Eijaz Khan, the actress said, "I really feel for my fans and I am connected with them. I really request everyone to be calm and composed and give us privacy. Please support me in whatever I am doing and support Eijaz also and let peace be there. Whatever happens, it happens for a reason. I am really keen and focussed towards my career right now. I've just lost my father, he was my biggest support. Ek Maa mamta hoti hai, Baap Deewar hota hai, Mamta se peit nahi palta, aur Deewar se security, protection sab hai. I have an elder sibling also, but he considers me as his mother and for me he is like my baby. I am the responsible one right now in my family. I am taking a few steps which are necessary for my family and myself. I am sure you guys will also understand and love that."

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Eijaz Khan discussed his life after his separation from Pavitra, stating that he now understands himself better, post the breakup. He said, "No bullshit about being happy or single, no statements like ‘I am having the best time of my life.’ I’d just say that I’m growing, and I am understanding myself more than ever before."
