From Shivin Narang to Shashank Vyas: TV celebs who refused Bigg Boss

The popular controversial reality show - Bigg Boss has always managed to win audiences hearts with their melodrama. The show is in its 13th season and has managed to reach in top 20 most-watched TV show list. Several celebrities desperately wait for the makers to approach them for Bigg Boss, while on the other side there are a few of them who have in the past refused to be a part of the show. This season Shivin Narang opted to do a fiction show than getting locked inside the house for more than three months. Previously too, actors like Shashank Vyas and Karan Singh Grover have chosen to stay away from the Bigg Boss house. Here's a list of celebrities who refused to be part of Bigg Boss. Take a look -

Beyhadh 2 actor Shivin Narang, who returned to the small screen with the second season of hit TV show Beyhadh, was approached for BB season 13 but the actor had something else in mind. In an exclusive conversation with TimesofIndia.com, he had said for him acting is his top priority. He said: "Bigg Boss is a game show and Beyhadh 2 is a television series where I get to act which I love doing. For an actor acting is top most priority. When I heard the script of Beyhadh 2, I thought my contribution towards this show will be more as compared to Bigg Boss 13. I heard my character, the story and I quite liked it. I felt we will be able to make something different with Beyhadh 2 and from the current types of shows that are running on television like saas bahu, supernatural." Balika Vadhu fame Shashank Vyas was also approached for Bigg Boss, but the actor turned down the offer. Shashank said that he does not want to play safe and earning money was not his agenda. He had even said that he does not want to participate in Bigg Boss as he never dreamt of staying in a place for three months. (Photo - Instagram)

Actor Karan Singh Grover has been part of several reality shows including Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, Zara Nachke Dikha and many more. But the handsome actor refused to participate in the Bigg Boss show. The actor said that he has done a stunt-based reality show and hosting, but he will never do 'Bigg Boss'. The Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 actor was approached by the makers of Bigg Boss not once or twice by thrice but KSG has refused to be a part. Bidaai fame Angad Hasija said that he will never be part of Bigg Boss. According to reports the Bidaai actor was offered Bigg Boss 13. While speaking to TOI, he said: “I got an offer for Bigg Boss this year but I rejected it because I feel that Big Boss is just not for me. Sometimes, you feel that a particular thing is just not for you. I feel that I won't be able to survive because of my nature. I had even got an offer from them before but I am not doing it as I feel that I should not do it. There is a lot of buzz about it and even I have heard people saying and asking me whether I am going to be in Bigg Boss but I would like to clear I am not entering the house.” (Photo - Instagram)

Roadies mentor Neha Dhupia has always said that she is not interested in participating in Bigg Boss house. In an interview with TimesofIndia, Neha said "I watch 'Bigg Boss' a lot and am a big Salman Khan fan. He is the reason to watch the show. But I would never get into the house. People think as we are always in the limelight, so moving around with a camera is easier for us but it makes me very uncomfortable to have a camera on me all the time." (Photo - Instagram)

Television actress Shama Sikander, who was last seen playing the role of Bhayankar Pari in Baal Veera, said she was approached by the makers of Bigg Boss. But she clearly said that she does not like the format of the show and refused to be a part of it.
