From Urfi Javed playing the ‘mischief-maker’ to Sunny Leone opening up about her struggles; Top moments from Splitsvilla 14

Splitsvilla 14 is nearing its end with ….in the finale. The show saw some major fights, confessions, revelations, emotional outbursts, and a lot more. Before the finale airs this weekend, let’s take a look at some of the top moments from this season of Splitsvilla.

The first couple to earn the ticket to finale was Hamid Barkzi and Soundous Moufakir. They contested against Honey and Moose Jattana. Hamid and Soundous are both former Roadies contestants. While Hamid had won season 18, Soundous was a contestant in the same season. In Splitsvilla, Hamid and Soundous have been together since the very beginning and have been praised for their bond. Hamid and Soundous found out in the last oracle round that they are indeed an ‘ideal match’.

The social media sensation, who is known for her quirky outfits and bold statements, made a stylish entry wearing a sea-shell outfit. She created a storm with her entry and her chemistry with Kashish Pundir was much shipped by fans and loved as well.

Just when you thought Kashish and Urfi were made for each other, hosts Arjun Bijlani and Sunny Leone dropped the bomb. Turned out, Urfi played a mischief-maker and created fights, misunderstandings in the house. She would occasionally be seen in the show to add spice. Urfi’s fight with Sakshi Dwivedi soon after her entry was one of the major highlights in the house.

While consoling Kashish Pundir in one of the episodes, Sunny Leone expressed and spoke about her own journey saying how he shouldn’t be bothered about what other people think or say. Citing her own example, Sunny said, “I will give you an example of myself: if I had taken everyone seriously since I got here in this country, I would have packed my bags and gone back home. It's been 10 years and I am still here; I didn't care what people have said out loud and they still do. Many will stoop low to demean you for no reason and this made me even stronger. Even though this is one show, I want you to look at the bigger picture and that bigger picture for you would be to win.”

In one of the episodes, Moose Jattana kept interrupting host Sunny Leone as she was trying to speak. But Sunny didn't take this behaviour lying down. Known for her amicable and forthright conduct, Sunny curbed Moose's interruption and became visibly upset. Host Sunny affirmed loud and clear, “Are you serious right now? If you want to come here, then come! You think that I need help? Can you let me do my job?” This made Moose stop and not speak anything further.

Shivam Sharma made a wild card entry. Arjun Bijlani, advised Shivam to not speak anything wrong about anyone's parents. During a task, Shivam and Kashish got into a war of words where Shivam crossed all the lines and used cuss words for his father. This left Kashish in tears and Arjun supported him saying he can understand his feelings and requesting everyone to be careful while talking about anyone's parents. Arjun told Shivam, “It is extremely wrong to speak about anyone's parents. Please don't justify what you have said. Kashish is crying and he's extremely hurt. Avoid speaking about anyone's parents, it's a request.”

Justin D’Cruz, Sakshi Shrivas and Tara Prasad’s love triangle has been one of the highlights this season. It kept everyone wondering about who Sakshi would select as her partner. Justin and Sakshi had paired up but soon the latter’s former love Tara Prasad made an entry and created turmoil in her life. While Tara wanted to give their love another chance and win over Sakshi, the latter just couldn’t let go of her bond with Justin. Both the guys kept arguing and fighting to win over Sakshi. Ultimately, Justin and Sakshi confessed their love for each other and were the first couple to say ‘I love you’ this season.

In one of the episodes, Sunny held Sakshi's hand and dragged the contestant forcing her to take her place. Sakshi was trying to say something in between the other contestants’ brawl. In between, Sunny said something, which Sakshi didn’t hear and she kept talking. Sunny dragged Sakshi to take her place and the former stood in the dumping zone. Later, Sakshi told IANS, "It was very embarrassing for me. Maybe I should have not interrupted her but what she did was beyond acceptable. She dragged me and told me to stand at her place and she came to my place and stood in the dumping zone. Her behaviour was very rude and it wasn't a language that anyone would want to hear.”
