From vibrant pandals and soulful aartis to the joy of decorating homes and sharing prasad, every moment is wrapped in warmth and festive cheer. On this special occasion, actor Bharat Ahlawwat shared his heartfelt memories, family traditions, and festive yaadein of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Bharat Ahlawwat, who essays the role of Raghav in Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, shared, “Ganesh Chaturthi has always held a very special place in my heart. Back in Delhi, it has been a tradition for my family to welcome Ganpati Bappa into our home every year, almost like inviting a beloved family member. For me, the festival has never been just about rituals; it’s about togetherness, laughter, and the peace that comes with his presence.”
He further said, “One of my favourite parts has always been decorating the house with my parents, putting up lights, arranging flowers, and creating a festive vibe. In the evenings, when friends and neighbours gather for the aarti, the entire home used to come alive with music, positivity, and smiling faces. This year, however, I won’t be able to go back home because of my shoot for Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, but my heart will always be with my family as they celebrate. I’ll still be welcoming Bappa with the same devotion and excitement, even if I’m away from home.”
