Gashmeer on why did not shave off his head

Recently, a social media user questioned Gashmeer about why he did not shave off his head after his father's demise or on the occasion of a funeral, and the actor reacted on the same.

Ritual of shaving off head

As per Hindu scripture, shaving the head is one of the most prominent rituals observed after the deaths of elderly family members. Hair removal is a sign of purification that male family members, especially those performing the last rites, are expected to undergo. This act prepares them both physically and mentally to perform the customary last rites.

A user questioned

A social media user questioned Gashmeer on the same and asked, "It is a ritual to shave off our hair after losing our father. I would like to know why you did not tonsure. I want to know your reason for not doing it.

Gashmeer's reply

Replying to the user, Gashmeer wrote, "Whatever I do, my family always supports me. I would have lost projects from my hands if I had tonsure. Would you have taken responsibility for those who are dependent on me?"

Gashmeer's fans are supporting his decision and sharing condolence messages with him on social media.
