Gauahar Khan, Kushal Tandon and other celebs feel saddened to see the condition of Afghanistan; pray for the people

The current situation of the people of Afghanistan has raised concern and people across the world are heartbroken to see how the citizens are trying to flee. People have been making desperate attempts to leave the war-torn country after the Taliban overthrew the Western-backed government in Afghanistan. The video from the airport has gone viral. Celebs have taken to social media to pray for peace and safety in Afghanistan.

In an Instagram post, Gauahar wrote, “Feeling horrible about what’s happening in Afghanistan! Sad Sad Sad! MMay Allah be with the people of the country and keep them safe! My heart is with the minorities especially. May Allah protect them all” (sic)

Taking to Twitter, Gautam Rode wrote, “It is really heartbreaking to see the humanitarian disaster that’s unfolding in Afghanistan. Prayers with the people of #Afghanistan.”

Sharing a video where the citizens of Afghanistan are running alongside the airplane, hanging on to the tyres… all in a bid to flee, Kushal expressed his sadness.

Yuvika Choudhary urged all to pray for the people of Afghanistan in a tweet. She wrote, “Plz everyone pray for Afghanistan.”

The actress wrote, “Horrific scenes from Kabul airport. Never seen anything like this. #Afghanistan.”
