begins with the police informing Virat that the man he just bumped into is the most wanted criminal,

Pawde. Virat runs behind him. He stops Sadanand and says that he is his college best friend, Virat Chavan. Sadanand sees the police approaching him and he runs away. The police questions Virat for being friends with a criminal.

He then tells Sai that they were college friends but they are not in contact now. Ashwini, Virat, and Bhavani return home. At the Chavan Niwas, Bhavani asks if they bought Diwali gifts for everyone. Ashwini denies.

Pakhi

starts taunting Ashwini and says that they went shopping against everyone's will and now they didn't even bother to bring gifts for the family members. Sonali backs Pakhi and argues with Ashwini. Pakhi sees rings on Virat and Sai's hands and starts taunting them.

Sai says that they couldn't do the shopping because Virat bumped into his old friend. Pakhi continues to taunt Virat. Virat gets angry and shouts at Pakhi. He then goes to his room angrily. Ashwini tells Chavans that Virat met his old friend, Sadanand who has turned into a criminal now. Everyone gets shocked. Pakhi feels bad for taunting Virat.

Virat calls the commissioner and tells him that he met Sadanand and he had no clue about his criminal activities. Virat begins to cry. Sai arrives and sees him crying. He consoles him. Virat then tells Sai that he is not friends with Sadanand because of his criminal activities. He further says that a cop and a criminal can never be friends.
